Seattle Cancer Care Alliance

Web redesign

Our client needed a refresh from their current non-responsive site. As a large medical provider in the Seattle area, they wanted to make their site feel more inviting, and even though they're one of the biggest providers in the area, they wanted their incoming patients to feel a sense of personalization.  Working with their current CMS, our goal was to create a more unified and welcoming message of hope by providing a modular responsive layout. I was brought in to create responsive wireframes and bring the sitemap up to date.

Duration: 2 weeks

My Role: UX Design (wireframes & sitemap)

THE PROBLEM

The client's current site was a bit of a rabbit hole of information. Additionally the site was not responsive - this made it impossible for patients traveling to the area from out of state to properly browse the site while in transit or outside of their home. Most of the research was done prior to my joining the team and there was a clear direction established. Since the client was already working with a CMS we needed to provide a solution that would allow the information to change over time but keep the clean inviting experience we wanted to create consistent.

THE SOLUTION

In order to work within the current CMS, we needed to provide a modular type of website. By creating content zones we were able to develop "template" style pages that could be used throughout the site for varying information.
